"the gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ" --Ephesians 4:11-12

This passage is a pillar of my calling.  I am passionate about my calling to ministry.  I find great joy in preaching the Gospel and teaching that enables and empowers people to grow in their faith and relationship with God.  I enjoy the experience of witnessing an "aha" moment.  Beyond the personal transformation I hope people experience I work to help people discover their spiritual gifts and calling for a ministry in the church and the world. 

My wife and I have been married since 1986 and we have two children, Janessa and Thomas.  I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including running, swimming, softball, golf and hiking.
